A Christmas Carol
Saturday December 14th at 7pm Doors at 6:30pm, Performance Starts at 7pm $20 General Admission/ $10 Students Tickets available online or at the door Oregon Adventure Theatre presents A Christmas Carol based off the Charles Dickens classic.
Charles Dickens wrote a perfect story – A story where ghosts give a man perspective, and that man chooses to use that perspective to change the lives of everyone around him for the better. Keeping as much of the original dialogue from the book as possible, Oregon Adventure Theatre has taken Charles Dickens’s perfect five hour book, and transformed it into a one hour wonderland performance of masks, puppets, hats and scarves.The play is a perfect fit for adults and children alike. Combining spectacular puppets with traditional Commedia Dell’arte masks, 4 actors are able to play more than 25 different characters throughout the play. The production feels like diving into a cartoon world, larger than life, and moves as fast as a run away train. The audience is encouraged to sing along with all the Christmas songs and is even invited to a theater wide, indoor safe, snowball fight! This is not a production you will soon forget, nor one you want to miss! |

A Night of African Music
with Blessing Bled Chimanga from Zimbabwe featuring Mike Olson Sunday December 22nd at 6pm Doors at 5:30pm, Performance Starts at 6pm Free By Donation Blessing Chimanga is an internationally acclaimed artist as a marimba player, singer, songwriter and percussionist from Zimbabwe. He's been touring worldwide (Asia, Europe, North & South America, Africa) with his own
African bands as well as with intercultural projects as musical Cultural ambassador of Zimbabwe, e.g. Zimboita, Kunzwana #1 or Mama Africa. Blessing's music is marked by a unique sound produced out of his virtuoso marimba playing and the true strong rhythms of Africa. The main attraction of the act is the high African energy live on stage, but also the outstanding entertaining talent of Blessing Chimanga.
