Open Art Night
EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT
from 6pm - 8pm
Beginning August 9th, every Wednesday is Open Art Night from 6pm-8pm. Calling all creative spirits, working in any media at any skill level! Envision an open studio committed to an inclusive and supportive environment for you to work on anything your heart desires. Network with other artists or work quietly on your own. There is no fee for the open art night; however, donations are encouraged in order to allow the Bay City Arts Center to offer this and similar events. Art supplies are not provided, please bring your own. Open art night will be hosted by Matt Sohler and will take place at the Bay City Arts Center.

Community Rock Painting

Join the Tillamook County Suicide Prevention Coalition and Open Art Night at the Bay City Arts Center for a family friendly event! Paint positive messages on rocks donated by Averill Landscaping Materials, and learn about suicide prevention, resources and trainings available in our community. This event recognizes Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in our community and is open to people of all ages.
Discovery in Stone

Join us for our Discovery in Stone. Our workshop allows participants, with no experience needed, to learn the ancient practice of hand carving stone. Tuition is by donation, drop-ins welcome, instructors on hand, and all materials are provided! Please plan to bring your own lunch or visit a local place. If the weather is nice, we'll tap-tap-tap the days away outside - otherwise we'll move onto the porches or into the art room. Share with a friend - it's such a unique experience that's both meditative and revealing. Get to know a stone and discover what it has to show to you! Tuition is by donation. Polaroid Emulsion Lifts Workshop
